For the past two years Nan, Inc. has been the lead sponsor for the Armed Services YMCA’s Celebrating the Military Family breakfast event. Nan, Inc. is proud to be the lead sponsor again for the 2015 event. As a private non-profit organization serving Hawaii’s military community since 1917, Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) has touched more military lives than any other organization in Hawaii. Challenges associated with military life often stem from being far away from home while dealing with the stress of military life, frequent spousal deployments and financial burdens. In order to meet these concerns head on, ASYMCA focuses programs and services in three key areas: education and child care; financial support and assistance; and services that reduce military members and families’ feelings of isolation and loneliness. With the help of Nan, Inc. and sponsors proceeds from the breakfast will allow ASYMCA to expand programs and services for military families throughout the island of Oahu.
