For the second consecutive year, Nan, Inc. supported the Hawaii Foobank with an annual food and fund drive. Nan, Inc. employees, along with their family and friends, subcontractors, and clients all chipped in during the drive, which ran from Nov. 23 to Dec. 31, 2009. The drive brought in 2,305 canned goods/food items, or 1,809 pounds of food, and raised $944 in monetary donations. With the company’s corporate matching contribution, Nan, Inc.’s total donation reached $4,193, greatly exceeding the previous year’s total of $3,435. Just in time for the holiday season, the drive helped the Hawaii Foodbank provide food items it does not regularly received from other sources.
