This project is a design build acquisition for the design and construction of a new one-story facility which combines a Fleet Store and MWR Outdoor Gear Facility into one building. The 23,737-square-foot Fleet Store contains a mini-mart, food court, barber shop, dry cleaners, and tailor shop, as well as car rental, travel agency, and gear rental services. It has an outdoor eating area with tables and sunshades and site infrastructure improvements that include 125 parking stalls, ADA accessible stalls, a covered equipment wash rack, and a fenced equipment storage yard. Situated on Pearl Harbor Boulevard next to Willamette Street, the new facility will provide sailors with a convenient location for a handful of their consumer needs.
