Kalia ADA/DOJ Renovations –Selected Kalia Hotel rooms were renovated to make the rooms ADA compliant. Work included changing the showers, replacing thresholds, installing Trex decking at the Lanais. The Kalia Mandara spa renovation included changing shower fixtures, installing ADA shower seats, grab bars, tile replacement, replacement of lavatory counters, replacing of selected doors. The outdoor portion included adjusting slopes in walkways, parking structure, adding/modifying railings, redoing slopes at the Porte Corche. We added area to the Tapa Bar Stage, along with making it ADA compliant (Stairs, modified chairlift). All while in active use. Contract value currently at $1.2 million.
