This highly anticipated project consisted of the design and construction of a new Youth Center that will better support the growing needs of the MCBH youth activities program, which serves over 2,000 school age youths. Previously spread out among inadequate and sometimes borrowed facilities, this new 20,715-square-foot center allows all of the youth programs to be centralized into one dedicated location with all the proper amenities and equipment. Several features of this new facility include a Game Room, TV/Game Area, Learning Center, Teen Center, Technology Center, several Activity Rooms, and a Gymnasium with a basketball court. The facility was constructed with sustainable practices and is self-certified by the Navy as a LEED certified project.
